A children’s football festival featuring young football players took place on the football field of the Ahal welayat Sports Boarding School, located in the Gökdepe Etrap in Babarap. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ahal welayat Sports Boarding School organized the event.
During the festival, young athletes actively participated in training sessions and competitions in various disciplines aimed at developing technical skills, speed, coordination, and teamwork.
At the conclusion of the festival, all participants were presented with football balls as gifts from the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, which served as a pleasant reward and additional motivation for the young athletes.
It’s worth noting that similar children’s football festivals have previously been held at the stadiums of the Specialized Children’s and Youth Olympic Reserve School, the Ashgabat City Department of Physical Culture and Sports for Football, the Olimp Secondary Sports School, and the Kopetdag Football Club of the Kopetdag Sports Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. Such events play an important role in the development of grassroots football and the identification of talented young players.
