On August 24, as part of the V International Festival “Caspian Seasons”, a creative evening dedicated to the musical culture of Turkmenistan was held in Astrakhan. The Turkmen delegation that took part in the anniversary Caspian Media Forum was also invited to the concert.
The musical family of Guseynov performed for the Astrakhan audience: Daria Guseynova, an opera singer, an artist of the Moscow Helikon Opera Theater, Mamed Guseynov, a composer, pianist, musical and public figure, a member of the Union of Composers of Russia and Eurasia. Their 11-year-old son, Dariy Guseynov, a young singer, pianist and actor, an invited artist of the Moscow Helikon Opera Musical Theater and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, also made his debut. The evening program included Turkmen folk songs, compositions from films, and works based on poems by Russian and Japanese authors. Darya Guseynova performed vocal parts accompanied on the piano by Mamed Guseynov. The audience was especially delighted by Darya Guseynov’s performance. The concert program also included premiere works emphasizing the importance of friendship and spiritual values. The evening ended with the song “Favorite Eyes” from the film “The Cunning of Uncle Ashir.”
