On September 29, as part of the Expo 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka, a conference dedicated to the results of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held in the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.
The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, the organizing committee of the World Expo 2025, and the international community.
During the conference, speeches were made by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A. Bayramov, the representative of the Japan Association for Expo 2025, H. Nishigaki, and the representative of the Turkmenistan National Pavilion.
The speakers emphasized the significance of the foreign visits of the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as well as the importance of the policy of strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding in the world in the International Year of Peace and Trust, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality. The peaceful, humanistic orientation of parliamentary diplomacy and the role and work of the Halk Maslahaty were noted.
In particular, Ambassador A. Bayramov spoke about the domestic and foreign policies pursued by the President of Turkmenistan and National Leader of the Turkmen people, about the international initiatives presented at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as about the constructive proposals put forward at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty.
In addition, conference participants were shown exhibits from the national pavilion of Turkmenistan and introductory videos about our country.
