A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by G. Agajanov, Chairman of the Turkmennebit State Concern, participated in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC-2025), held from November 3 to 6, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The delegation included B. Bayramov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE, as well as representatives of the Turkmennebit and Turkmengaz state concerns.
The official opening of the exhibition took place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and brought together a broad representation of international energy companies and industry experts.
Turkmenistan was represented at the exhibition by a national pavilion highlighting the achievements and potential of the country’s oil and gas industry, as well as investment opportunities for foreign partners.
As part of the exhibition, a meeting was held between G. Agajanov, Chairman of the Turkmenistan State Concern, and Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC. During the conversation, the parties noted the positive dynamics of Turkmen-UAE cooperation in the energy sector and expressed their readiness to further develop this mutually beneficial partnership.
On November 3, a meeting was held between G. Agajanov, Chairman of the Turkmenistan State Concern, and Saeed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil, at the Dragon Oil pavilion. On November 4, a meeting was held with Abdulkarim Al Maazmi, Chief Executive Officer of Dragon Oil, at the Turkmenistan pavilion. During the discussions, current cooperation and prospects for joint projects were discussed.
Detailed information dedicated to the 25th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Dragon Oil was presented at the Dragon Oil pavilion.
The Turkmen delegation also met with representatives of leading international companies, including ADNOC, Petronas, Siemens Energy, Baker Hughes, Yug-Neftegaz, and Azizi Group. They discussed prospects for cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.
Turkmenistan’s participation in ADIPEC 2025 marked an important step in strengthening international energy cooperation, promoting the country’s investment potential, and expanding business contacts with leading global companies.
