On September 26, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom organized a solemn event and exhibition dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan.
The festive event was attended by Turkmen students studying in higher education institutions of the United Kingdom, citizens of Turkmenistan living in London, representatives of “Galkynysh” branch of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World in Great Britain, as well as representatives of the Embassy.
During the event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Ya.Seryaev, in his speech noted the great successes achieved in our country during the years of independence, successful domestic and foreign policy conducted by the respected President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, legal status of permanent neutrality of Independent Turkmenistan, three times recognized by the General Assembly of the United Nations, the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and a representative Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust scheduled in December 2025 in the city of Ashgabat as well as other important international events held in our country.
As part of the event, an exhibition of books devoted to the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and about our country as well as a photo exhibition of national achievements were organized. A video presentation on the development of Turkmenistan was shown. At the same time, the performance of Turkmen folk songs on the national musical instrument dutar received a standing ovation from the audience.
