A large lithium deposit has been discovered in Germany, Bild reports, citing energy company Neptune Energy.
According to the company, the Saxony-Anhalt region contains 43 million tons of lithium, potentially one of the largest deposits in the world.
The publication notes that lithium is crucial for Germany, as it is a key component in batteries, gadgets, and electric vehicles.
However, mining may not begin until 2033.
