A meeting was held at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan with Mr.Stephen Barrett, consultant Social Protection System of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)

On 17 October 2025, a meeting took place at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan with Mr.Stephen Barrett, consultant Social Protection System of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNICEF in the field of social protection, particularly focusing on measures aimed at ensuring the well-being of mothers and children, and improving social policy in this area.
