On August 5, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Rayev.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of further expansion of cooperation between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY. It was noted that there are favorable prospects for further deepening contacts in the area of culture and art, stimulating scientific research in this area, mutually beneficial creative exchanges, and holding joint events.
It was noted that cultural interaction is the core on which Turkic-speaking countries build their political, diplomatic, trade and economic relations.
Following the meeting, mutual commitment to further expand fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and TURKSOY was confirmed.
