A meeting with a representative of Kent State University (USA) was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development. The event was attended by the administration of IUHD and Ayya Hudaybergenova, a Director, Eurasia Strategy – Kent State University.
During the meeting, the guest was provided with detailed information about the university’s history, structure, international cooperation, and research work.
In turn, the representative of the at Kent State University expressed her best wishes and gratitude for the warm welcome at the university. She emphasized that establishing and developing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries is one of her priorities. The Kent State University representative expressed her readiness to further develop cooperation with IUHD in relevant areas and noted that the necessary measures will be taken in this direction.
As is known, last year Kent State University signed a memorandum of understanding with IUHD. The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint research projects, educational programs, student exchanges, and other areas of cooperation. It should be noted that within the framework of this document, the two universities are actively developing the first of its kind in the higher education system of Turkmenistan, a draft agreement on a dual degree program in the direction of the Master’s program in Business Administration.
This meeting was a clear example of effective international partnership and the expansion of interuniversity cooperation on a global educational platform.
