Various events and celebrations are planned for the coming month, including forums, exhibitions, creative meetings, educational events, and competitions to celebrate the 2026 motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, World Health Day, and the National Day of the Turkmen Horse. A summary of the results of previously announced creative competitions is also planned. Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova announced this at a government meeting on March 27.
In April, the capital will host the International Exhibition and Conference “Turkmentravel – 2026,” and the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater will host a celebratory concert by the Symphony Orchestra of the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state’s consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation for events to be held this April to mark World Health Day, the National Turkmen Horse Day, and other events. The head of state also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the proper organization of groundbreaking ceremonies and the opening of social and cultural facilities.
