A solo exhibition by artist Berdiguly Amansahatow, a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, has opened in Ashgabat.
The exhibition features over 110 paintings and graphic works. Among them are “Spring Melodies” (2015), “At the Crossroads of the Great Silk Road” (2018), a series dedicated to the work of Magtymguly (2024), illustrations for Alisher Navoi’s poem “Seven Beauties” (2023), and works based on Fuzuli’s “On the Feelings of Ghazals” (2022) and “Sounds of the Evening Dutar” (2014).
Berdiguly Amansahatow is also a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Khakassia, and a laureate of the award for best scenography. The artist is known for his works on Turkmen culture and Eastern themes and regularly exhibits at the Khazine Gallery in Russia.
His work draws on classical Eastern literature, combining elements of surrealism and symbolism. His works have received recognition both in Turkmenistan and abroad. The exhibition will be open for 10 days.
