A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Minister of Justice Batyr Myradov, participated in the 11th National Forum on the Rule of Law in Dushanbe.
Representatives of government agencies, foreign justice ministries, international organizations, as well as the academic community and civil society, participated in the event.
Participants discussed the development of legal systems, including access to justice, human rights protection, improvements to civil and business legislation, and criminal law policy. Particular attention was paid to eliminating legal and institutional barriers and sharing international experience.
The representative of Turkmenistan emphasized the country’s commitment to the principles of the rule of law, continued reforms to national legislation, and increased effectiveness of the judicial system. He noted the importance of international cooperation in protecting citizens’ rights and fostering a modern legal culture.
