Today, September 29, on the eve of the AFC Ahal (Turkmenistan) vs. Al-Hussein (Jordan) Champions League 2 match, a traditional pre-match meeting was held with representatives of the Asian Football Confederation, the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, football clubs, the organizing committee, and relevant departments. Organizational matters were discussed and the teams’ colors were determined. Turkmenistan’s vice-champion Ahal will be the hosts in yellow, while the visiting Al-Hussein will wear white. The match will be officiated by a team of referees led by Shen Yinhao (China).
As a reminder, in the first round of Group C, Ahal defeated Indian side Mohun Bagan 1-0 away. Al Hussein also won at home, defeating Iranian side Sepahan 1-0.
The second round match of the group stage of the 2024/25 AFC Champions League 2 between the teams Ahal and Al-Hussein will take place tomorrow, September 30, at the Arkadag stadium (Arkadag) and will start at 18:45 Ashgabat time.
