American Councils for International Education is announce the start of accepting applications for the brand new Prep4Success Teacher Program, a professional development opportunity for educators across the country. The program will be conducted in person in Ashgabat and at American Corners in Dashoguz, Mary, and Turkmenabat. Participants from the Balkan region will have the opportunity to join the Ashgabat cohort online.
Over the course of six months, participants will engage in a thoughtfully designed curriculum covering key thematic areas, including best practices for teaching test preparation, academic reading and writing, and public speaking. Participants will also be introduced to skills such as using data analysis to assess students’ performance, giving clear instructions, employing interactive and communicative activities in the classroom, and building an environment that encourages student-centered learning.
The deadline for applications is July 19, at 17:00.
