The enthusiasm continued on Sunday, July 6, at Arkach Shopping and Entertainment Center, further solidifying their connection with the Ashgabat public.
A truly memorable moment of the tour was the special collaboration between American singer Jessica Lynn and talented young Turkmen singer Dovran Shammyyev. Shammyyev, a former student of Jessica Lynn’s online academy, joined her on stage for a medley of popular hits by artists like Duffy, Amy Winehouse, and Ray Charles. This unique duet was met with thunderous applause, highlighting the power of music to bridge cultures and foster international artistic partnerships. The concert also featured a joint performance with famous Turkmen jazz singer Maysa Niyazova, who joined Jessica Lynn for a rendition of Shania Twain’s hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”

Beyond their electrifying performances, the Jessica Lynn band demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement. They dedicated time to meet with local children, sharing their passion for music and even playing instruments alongside them. This interactive approach underscored their desire to connect with the younger generation and inspire future musicians in Turkmenistan.
In a pre-concert, Jessica Lynn shared that her band is largely a family affair, with her mother on keyboards and vocals, father on bass guitar, and husband on guitar, and drummer is a family friend. She also expressed her deep admiration for Ashgabat, noting the city’s remarkable cleanliness and the evident pride its residents take in their surroundings.
