From December 18 to 22, the 21st International Martial Arts Spartakiad was held in Russia. Athletes from dozens of countries participated in the tournament, according to the country’s International Information Center.
Ragitbek Bekchanov represented Turkmenistan at the competition. He won six gold medals in mas wrestling (stick pulling) in the 70 kg weight class.
Bekchanov demonstrated a high level of physical fitness and tactical mastery. His victories strengthened Turkmenistan’s position in martial arts on the international stage.
His success demonstrates the growth of national sports and the readiness of Turkmen athletes to win major international tournaments.
