On February 10, an exhibition of export commodities of the Republic of Türkiye was opened at the Ashgabat’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by members of the Government of our country, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Turkmenistan, numerous entrepreneurs, and representatives of the mass media. At the opening ceremony, the Welcome Address of Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedow to the participants of the exhibition was read out. The Welcome Address noted that currently the Republic of Türkiye is one of the largest trade and economic partners of our country, that Turkish companies, working closely with Turkmen partners, successfully implement a number of joint projects in various sectors of the economy, and expand effective cooperation in the business sector.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye Ömer Bolat expressed his sincere gratitude to the Turkmen side for the wonderful conditions created for holding the exhibition and the hospitality extended to the Turkish delegation.
The exhibition attracts great interest from visitors with its diversity. More than 100 companies presenting Türkiye’s industrial potential have set up their stands in the spacious hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Among them are representatives of rapidly developing small and medium-sized businesses, as well as large industrial enterprises. Stands of companies specializing in industry and machine building attract special attention from visitors. Turkish manufacturers present the latest types of equipment and technological systems designed to modernize industrial facilities.
In connection with the implementation of national programs for the industrialization of our country, this direction is of great interest. Within the framework of the exhibition, business meetings of representatives of the two countries were held. This will help to discuss future transactions and develop a common strategy for the creation of joint enterprises. During the forum, the issue of training specialists was discussed. Representatives of Turkish companies expressed their readiness to hold training seminars for Turkmen specialists who will work with the equipment they produce. This large-scale event testifies to the fact that Turkmen-Turkish cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level. Mutual cooperation based on the principle of “two states – one nation” is aimed at the benefit of the well-being of both countries.
