The event, held at the International University for the Humanities and Development, one of the country’s prestigious higher education institutions, in the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses»” reinforced to learn more about the structure of the European Union’s Research and Innovation (R&I) Program. The foreign policy of our country under this program, and the peculiarities of the current stages for scholars and innovators from Central Asian countries. The guest speaker at the event was Ms. Ksenia Savchenko, representative of the European Commission’s Global Service Facility (GSF).
The objectives of the event were to provide an overview of the Horizon Europe (HE) program – the European Union’s funding program for Research and Innovation (R&I). Horizon Europe’s work programs for 2026-2027 were also presented.
During the meeting, the participants of the event received an overview of the structure of the Horizon Europe program, as well as the relevant funding lines and thematic areas.
