Ashgabat’s Arkach Shopping and Entertainment Center hosted an unusual sports masterclass, transforming a traditional space for relaxation and shopping into a real tennis court. Organizers installed a mobile court right inside the building, making the game accessible to all visitors.
Guests were able to not only watch an exhibition match featuring experienced athletes but also gain a closer look at the game’s techniques. Professional tennis players demonstrated key elements, from serving to precise shots, after which everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at the court.
Under the guidance of coaches, participants mastered basic skills, and the necessary equipment was provided on site, allowing them to join the activity without prior preparation.
The event was part of a series of spring initiatives aimed at popularizing tennis and developing mass sports. Such formats help make an active lifestyle more accessible and engage more residents in sports.
