The International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) hosted an online lecture by Dr. Pierre Fabien Nkot of the University of Yaoundé II (Cameroon). The topic of the meeting was the activities of the UN and its role in the system of contemporary international relations, according to the country’s International Information Center.
The lecture was held as part of the development of academic cooperation between Turkmenistan and international research centers and the integration of international experience into the educational process.
The speaker touched upon Turkmenistan’s peacekeeping initiatives and the “Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace” approach in the context of global stability. The country’s neutral status was highlighted as an example of the practical implementation of the UN’s goals of maintaining peace and trust. The
discussion also focused on reforming international institutions and adapting security mechanisms to current conditions.
Following the lecture, a discussion was held with IUHD students and faculty. The parties exchanged views on regional cooperation and challenges in global governance.
The university administration announced plans to continue the practice of online lectures with the participation of international experts.
