Turkmenistan has begun accepting applications for the Youth Prize, the online newspaper Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Citizens of the country aged 16 to 35 who have demonstrated significant achievements, creative and labor activity in various fields – literature, art, culture, science and technology, medicine, sports, agriculture, and teaching – can be nominees for the prize.
Documents from candidates are accepted in city and regional councils of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan until September 15.
Documents must contain information about the merits and achievements of the candidate over the past three years.
Those wishing to participate must provide six color photographs measuring 3×4; personal data (questionnaire and autobiography) must be submitted both in paper and electronic form (the last name, first name, patronymic, date, month and year of birth, position, work and home addresses, as well as a telephone number must be indicated separately). Notarized copies of the candidate’s passport and work record book (if employed); documents confirming public recognition of the candidate’s activities, namely: copies of honorary certificates, diplomas and other awards, photographs, CD and DVD recordings of his speeches and works, samples of creative materials published in the media;
Also, it is necessary to provide a reference issued by the institution, organization or enterprise nominating the candidate for the award, as well as a certified copy of an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the etrap, city or velayat youth organization with signatures and a seal.
Persons who have previously received this award cannot apply for the award again.
