A new infotainment system accessible via an internal WiFi network has been introduced at Ashgabat International Airport. The initiative was implemented as part of the modernization of Turkmenistan’s transport infrastructure, the Turkmenhowayollary Agency reported.
Passengers will have access to multimedia content — films, music, and electronic publications — from mobile devices, tablets, and laptops. The system allows viewing feature films and documentaries about Turkmenistan, listening to music of various genres, and reading the press in electronic format.
The project is a continuation of a similar system on board the national air carrier’s aircraft, which already provides a high level of digital comfort on international flights.
In the future, the platform’s functionality will be expanded and the media library will be regularly updated.
