Turkmenistan hosts numerous international Olympiads and competitions to strengthen international relations and friendship between peoples. The Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS), held annually at the International University for the Humanities and Development in Ashgabat, is one such competition. This year, the 6th Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS) will be held from the 23rd to the 28th of March at the International University for the Humanities and Development. Young people from all over the world will participate in the competition, which will be held in mathematics – from the Federal Republic of Germany, the Greek Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Along with international students, Turkmen students will also participate in the Olympiad to showcase their talents.
The competition will be held in individual and group formats and will be judged fairly by a jury consisting of professors from higher education institutions in our country and abroad. Students will have the opportunity to test their talents by participating in Level A and B competitions. The awards ceremony will take place on the final day of the Olympiad.
Students who came to participate in the competition were warmly welcomed by the organizers, the International University for the Humanities and Development. All the necessary conditions were created for a comfortable stay for students and faculty. Excursions were also planned for guests, allowing them to learn about the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and explore the capital’s sights in their free time. Student volunteers from the university were trained to accompany and assist our international guests. They will provide them with all necessary support.

This competition, designed to reveal talent and unite people, was officially opened on 24th of March in the conference hall of the International University for the Humanities and Development. Each participant was wished success.
