On August 29, the Turkmen capital will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Potential of Artificial Intelligence in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Education”.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan jointly with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE). The main goal of the event is to discuss the integration of artificial intelligence into educational platforms at the national and international levels, as well as the exchange of best practices in this area.
The conference program includes speeches by UNESCO representatives, international experts, employees of the Ministry of Education, scientists and teachers of Turkmenistan.
Participants will discuss issues of digitalization of education, development of digital and media literacy, ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence and innovative educational technologies.
The conference will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge on the introduction of AI technologies in the educational process and developing joint strategies for the development of education in the context of digital transformation. Particular attention will be paid to the use of artificial intelligence to personalize learning, develop critical thinking and adapt educational programs to modern requirements.
Participants of the event will be able to get acquainted with the best international practices, discuss existing challenges and prospects, and establish partnerships for the implementation of joint projects in the future.
The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, with the support of UNESCO, is implementing a comprehensive strategy for the digitalization of education, including the development of technological infrastructure, advanced training of teaching staff, the introduction of intelligent learning systems and the creation of national standards of digital competence.
