On August 28, a delegation from the Balkan region of Turkmenistan headed by governor Hojamyrat Ashyrmyradov visited the Mangistau region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the governor of the region Nurdaulet Kilybay, during which priority areas of cross-border cooperation were discussed and a program for the development of strategic partnership for 2025–2027 was agreed upon.
Speaking at the meeting, the governor of the Balkan region noted that strengthening and expanding the partnership between the two regions is in line with the course set by the leaders of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, and contributes to the further development of good-neighborly relations between the two states.
Following the negotiations, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in deepening cooperation and expressed their readiness to jointly implement specific measures aimed at developing cross-border cooperation and strengthening friendly ties.
