The 23rd edition of “BioAsia 2026” in Hyderabad, India, has cemented Telangana’s reputation as a global leader in TechBio and life sciences innovation. Organized by the Government of Telangana, the summit brought together thousands of delegates, including multinationals, startups, investors, and researchers, to explore AI, automation, advanced biotech, cell and gene therapies, and medical devices. Highlights included the launch of the Telangana Hospital–Industry–Innovation Bridge, a new initiative designed to foster collaboration between hospitals and industry for translational research and medtech manufacturing — helping startups work directly with clinicians to build solutions grounded in real healthcare needs. The event also showcased technologies like AI-driven mobility devices for the visually impaired and reinforced strategies to attract billions in investment, build life sciences talent pipelines, and scale innovation ecosystems for global competitiveness.
