Embassy of France in Turkmenistan held a ceremonial event together with Bouygues, Thales, MBDA, Total Energies, Schneider Electric, Dessange and TyllaNal, on July 14 at the Yildiz Hotel in the presence of the Minister of Education J.Gurbangeldiev, reported at French Embassy’s official website.
The program of the celebration included a fashion show by designer Govher Gouverné, who was presented in early July during the haute couture week at the Meurice Hotel in Paris. Also presented a 3D video reconstruction of the historical monument of Ulug-Depe prepared by the French-Turkmen archaeological expedition. MAFTUR , a screening of excerpts from the play “RITUALS”, created in May by IFT in partnership with DelUE , the Embassy of Italy and the Goethe-Institut in Almaty with European funding. And a 3D reconstruction of the Geophysical Cave created during the French Speleological Expedition to Koytendag in 2024.
On the afternoon of the day, French teachers met with the French Ambassador Philippe Merlin at IFT. French teachers from Ashgabat and all regions, MLF Bouygues School, Ashgabat International School and IFT teachers took part in the exchange of experience in the field of methods and new technologies for teaching French as a foreign language.
