On April 17, the final ceremony of the “Suhangoylik” Art of speech in the Chinese language competition was held among students from higher education institutions of Turkmenistan. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan, and the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages jointly organized this event. The “Suhangoylik” competition, featuring presentations on the theme “The Whole World is One Family,” was dedicated to the “International Chinese Language Day” and marked its debut among students in our country.
The first round of the competition, conducted in two stages, saw participating students compete by writing essays in Chinese. Chinese language teachers from various higher education institutions in our country evaluated these essays.
The ceremony for the second round took place in the conference hall of the main building of the institute. Attendees included Zhong Hua, Advisor to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, along with other embassy representatives, teachers, and students. Talented students, selected from the first round, presented their work in Chinese to the jury.
The students who performed successfully were declared the winners of the competition and were awarded diplomas from the higher educational institutions under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, as well as special gifts from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
