At a government meeting on June 27, Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyyev reported on the measures taken to train world-class specialists for the civil aviation industry.
It was emphasized that in April of this year, the Aviation Personnel Training School of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency was awarded the corresponding certificate of the Trainair plus Program of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
This allows training not only domestic specialists, but also foreign ones, and promotes the expansion of cooperation in this area and the improvement of teaching methods in this School in accordance with international standards.
Having reported on the advisability of organizing phased training in a number of specialties on the basis of the School by ICAO during 2025, the head of the Agency submitted a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of further strengthening the established contacts with the International Civil Aviation Organization in order to train world-class specialists for the country’s civil aviation industry. Having approved the proposal to organize courses at the Aviation Personnel Training School of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency, the head of state instructed the head of the Agency to carry out relevant work in this direction.
