At the Government meeting on August 29, Deputy Prime Minister B.Seyidova reported on the Procedure for holding events in September of this year, in particular, on the conferences, round table meetings, exhibitions, creative meetings, and propaganda events planned on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
As reported, the final round of the competition among gifted children “Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri” will be held in the building of “Türkmeniň ak öýi” in the town of “Nowruz ýaýlasy” next month, and the TV competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” will be held in the song and music center “Aşgabat”.
In honor of the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland, a festive concert of cultural figures and masters of art of the country, a ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument will be held. Then the raising of the State Flag of Turkmenistan on the main squares of the Flag of the city of Arkadag and the velayats, and a ceremonial parade in front of the State Tribune will be held.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the head of state for consideration.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to properly prepare for the festive events scheduled for September and the ceremonial parade in front of the State Tribune in honor of the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence. The head of state also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of organization of the opening ceremony of social and cultural facilities.
Also at the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on the results of the activities of the supervised sphere for January-August of this year.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of further improving the activities of the cultural sphere, widely popularizing and preserving the national cultural heritage for future generations.
