On May 29, a Boeing 767 cargo aircraft of the Polish airline SKYTAXI made its first technical landing at Dashoguz International Airport, the JSC Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan (TULM) reported. The aircraft, flying from Urumqi (China) to Poland, landed for scheduled maintenance before continuing its flight. The Turkmen Logistics Center (TULM), a joint – stock company coordinating the development of international multimodal transport corridors through the country, organized the operation. This event highlights Turkmenistan’s strategic initiative to strengthen its status as a key logistics hub in the Eurasian space. As part of these efforts, transport infrastructure, including airports, is being modernized and their capacity to receive increasing volumes of cargo is being expanded, which also contributes to the development of tourism and transit between Europe and Asia. SKYTAXI is a Polish cargo airline that is actively expanding its fleet and flight geography in response to the growing demand for air transport between Europe and Asia. The successful technical landing at Dashoguz Airport demonstrates its readiness to receive large cargo aircraft and the potential for integration into international logistics networks.
