In honor of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, a ceremony was held on September 28 to present state awards and confer new military and special ranks, as well as class ranks, to service members and law enforcement officers in accordance with documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
For their significant personal contributions to strengthening the independence of the permanently neutral Turkmen state, strengthening its defense capability, protecting its territorial integrity, ensuring security, public order, and law enforcement, exemplary performance of official duties, and achieving high results in combat training, a group of service members and military and law enforcement officers were awarded medals of Turkmenistan.
Having proudly accepted high state awards in honor of the 34th anniversary of the country’s independence, the defenders of the Fatherland vowed to continue to conscientiously fulfill their military duty and to courageously and selflessly stand guard over the independence and territorial integrity of their country and people.
Those awarded military and special ranks, as well as class ranks, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for their high awards and assured that they would continue to honorably fulfill their military duty, setting an example of faithful service to the Motherland, high respect for the glorious path of their ancestors, patriotism, courage, and bravery.
