India Turns the Market Upside Down and Amazes the World. The most affordable electric car in the world, the Yakuza Mini Electric Car, has gone on sale in India, costing only 275 euros. This compact car is designed for urban use and has already attracted interest outside the country. The car has received official certification and is offered in a serial version, not as a concept. This project was made possible thanks to government support, including tax breaks and the FAME-II program.
The electric car is equipped with an LFP battery with a range of 120-150 km and charges from a household outlet in 6-7 hours. Production is completely localized: batteries, motors and electronics are created in India. The absence of imports and the simplicity of the design make it possible to achieve such a low price.
The Yakuza Mini is designed for narrow streets and dense traffic in megacities. It is suitable for couriers, students and workers, offering LED lighting, a rear-view camera, a simple audio system and a digital panel. Despite the minimal comfort, the car meets the basic requirements of urban mobility.
