On June 26, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan donated 55 Korean language books and 2 bookcases to the Department of Korean Language of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and 66 books on Korean languages to the Information Access Center of Turkmenistan, as reported Korean embassy.
The handover ceremony was headed by the 2nd Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan Ms. Chae Minkyung. Representatives of both institutions took part in the event.
The donated collection of books is intended for students at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. It covers a wide range of topics and is aimed at developing all language skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading.
Both sides expressed their readiness for further cooperation and exchanged plans for future cultural and educational exchanges between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.
