On July 9, the Asian Culture Festival was held at the Ploiesti Palace of Culture, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Prahova County with the participation of the Embassies of Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the Philippines in Romania.
The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, heads of diplomatic missions, public figures, residents of Prahova and media representatives.
During the opening ceremony, the President of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aurelian Gogulescu, and the participants in their speeches noted the importance of cultural dialogue and international cooperation.
There was also a display of traditional costumes from Asian countries, reflecting the richness of cultural heritage and ethnic diversity.
During the festival, a meeting between Аmbassadors and representatives of the Prahova administration took place, where the importance of developing bilateral relations and regional cooperation was emphasized.
At the cultural exhibition, the Turkmen side presented traditional costumes, handicrafts, carpets, musical instruments, works by Magtymguly Fragi, as well as books by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The final stage of the event was an introduction to the culinary traditions of the participating countries.
