A large-scale investment project is planned in ancient Bukhara: the creation of a cultural and tourist complex called “Küçük Türkmenistan” (Little Turkmenistan), according to uz.sputniknews.ru.
The initiative and key organizational issues were discussed in detail at a meeting between the Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the heads of the Turkish company Finwest Finance Company, the Union of Local Governments of Eurasia, and the joint venture SD TURKMEN HALY.
During the negotiations, participants focused on attracting direct investment and creating high-quality hotel infrastructure that meets international standards. The project is intended to become a vibrant attraction for travelers from around the world, revealing unique facets of the regions’ rich cultural heritage.
A key component of the “Küçük Türkmenistan” concept will be the promotion of national crafts, traditional carpet weaving, and vibrant cuisine. The complex will feature craft workshops, exhibition areas, and gastronomic venues where guests will be able to learn about historical traditions, witness the work of traditional artisans, and experience the authentic atmosphere of Eastern hospitality. This project will give new impetus to the development of Bukhara’s tourism industry and cement its status as a key cultural hub in Eurasia.
