Aimed at advancing the education system and expanding international cooperation, a three-day international training seminar “DARYA SCAFFOLD” commenced on April 27, in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, and is currently ongoing.
The seminar is being held from April 27 to 29 and is focused on enhancing teachers’ professional development, modernizing the educational process, and introducing effective and innovative teaching approaches.
The event is organized within the framework of the DARYA initiative, supported by the European Union and implemented by the European Training Foundation, bringing together representatives from the Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The delegation of Turkmenistan is actively participating in the seminar. A total of 8 representatives from Turkmenistan are taking part, including officials from the Ministry of Education, as well as heads and teachers of pedagogical and secondary vocational institutions.
During the seminar, participants are developing practical skills in designing, implementing, and evaluating teacher professional development programs using the innovative SCAFFOLD tool.
The three-day program includes interactive sessions, group work, and experience exchange, enabling participants to adapt modern educational approaches to their national systems.
As a result of the seminar, participants are expected to develop comprehensive training session designs, assessment tools, and practical action plans for implementing improved professional development practices in their respective countries.
The organization of this seminar represents an important step in strengthening the education systems of Central Asian countries, enhancing the quality of teacher training, and fostering international cooperation in the field of education.
