The Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan has announced it will host the “Journey to Europe” Festival scheduled for Saturday, May 30. The public event is organized as part of the ongoing Europe Day celebrations in the country.
The family-friendly festival aims to showcase European culture, diversity, and the spirit of bilateral cooperation through an array of community-focused activities. Attendees can look forward to live music, interactive cultural programs, dedicated photo zones, and a festive family atmosphere throughout the day.
According to organizers, the central highlight of the festival will be an interactive quest representing various EU Member States. Visitors will be able to navigate through country-themed stations located across the venue, offering an engaging way to learn about the geography, history, and traditions of Europe.
Cultural event will be held in Arkach Shopping Center, Ashgabat, at 11:00, and open to all citizens of the city.
About Europe Day: Europe Day is celebrated annually to mark peace and unity in Europe. In Turkmenistan, the EU Delegation has expanded its 2026 celebrations to include public events, following the “Wings of Friendship Run” held in April and a formal diplomatic reception earlier in May.
