On Au­gust 27, 2026, a mee­ting bet­we­en the Cham­bers of Com­merce and In­dust­ry of Turk­me­nis­tan and Uk­rai­ne was held via videocon­fe­rence.
The par­ticipants inclu­ded Ser­dar Kep­ba­nov, Di­rector of the Tra­de Hou­se of the Cham­ber of Com­merce and In­dust­ry of Turk­me­nis­tan, Vale­riy Ko­rol, Vice Pre­si­dent of the Cham­ber of Com­merce and In­dust­ry of Uk­rai­ne, as well as the rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the bu­si­ness com­mu­ni­ti­es of Turk­me­nis­tan and Uk­rai­ne.
The ma­in pur­po­se of the event was to sup­port small and me­di­um-si­zed en­terp­ri­ses en­ga­ged in im­port and export activities, es­tab­lish di­rect con­tacts bet­we­en bu­si­ness rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the two count­ri­es, and iden­ti­fy favorab­le vectors for mu­tu­al­ly be­ne­ficial coo­pe­ra­ti­on.
Du­ring their re­marks, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the Cham­bers of Com­merce and In­dust­ry of the two count­ri­es emp­ha­si­zed their in­te­rest in in­ten­si­fying di­rect col­la­bo­ra­ti­on bet­we­en ent­rep­re­neurs, re­gu­lar­ly exchan­ging bu­si­ness in­for­ma­ti­on, explo­ring mar­ket op­por­tu­ni­ti­es, and see­king new forms of coo­pe­ra­ti­on. At­ten­ti­on was pa­id to the pros­pects for develo­ping ti­es in the texti­le and che­mical in­dust­ri­es, the trans­port and lo­gis­tics sector, as well as ot­her areas of mu­tu­al in­te­rest.
Par­ticular emp­ha­sis was placed on the ro­le of trans­port and lo­gis­tics links in expan­ding mu­tu­al tra­de and en­ga­ging the po­ten­ti­al of Turk­me­nis­tan for the develop­ment of tra­de rou­tes in the re­gi­on.
Du­ring the videocon­fe­rence, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Turk­men and Uk­rai­ni­an bu­si­ness com­mu­ni­ti­es pre­sen­ted in­for­ma­ti­on about their activities and specific bu­si­ness pro­po­sals.
The mee­ting de­monst­ra­ted mu­tu­al in­te­rest to­wards providing new im­pe­tus to con­tacts bet­we­en the bu­si­ness com­mu­ni­ti­es of Turk­me­nis­tan and Uk­rai­ne.
