Supported by the British Embassy in Ashgabat, the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan is implementing the “Mapping of Creative Economy and Innovation Sector of Turkmenistan” project, building a strong foundation for the development of creative and innovative industries.
As part of the project, international expert Dana Shayakhmet visited Ashgabat from August 10-14. During official meetings, she presented key research findings to the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the UIET (Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan).
The parties discussed prospects for developing the country’s creative industry, as well as long-term inter-agency cooperation with the Department for the Development of the Creative Economy and Innovation of the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan.
