Ashgabat will host its first-ever specialized tourism seminar, organized by Tourism Malaysia in partnership with the Malaysian Embassy in Turkmenistan. This landmark event for the national tourism industry will take place on July 14, at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat, according to the country’s IIC.

The meeting will be the first official step by the Malaysian government agency to promote its business in the promising Turkmen market.

During the seminar, representatives of the Turkmen tourism sector will have the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of Malaysia’s rich recreational and cultural potential. Leading experts will present current products, new routes, and promising air travel opportunities between the two countries, designed to make travel more accessible for citizens.

The meeting will focus on presenting Tourism Malaysia’s strategic plans for developing long-term cooperation and strengthening partnerships in the Central Asian region. This event will open new horizons for domestic operators, allowing them to expand their range of traveler offerings and establish direct business contacts with their international counterparts.
