A new long-distance hiking route, the Wolf Trail, has been developed in Europe, with a length of about 3,500 kilometers. Stretching from the Baltic Sea coast of Poland to Trieste in Italy, the new route will allow tourists to cross the territories of six European countries – Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Italy. The route, designed by specialists from the Jack Wolfskin company, which produces hiking gear, combines historical trails and has a total elevation gain of 78,400 meters. The route, which was thoroughly examined by Canadian expert Lauren Rorick, is distinguished by its full compliance with safety requirements and the systematic placement of special areas and mountain camps along the route. It is estimated that it will take an average of 4 to 6 months to complete the entire hike.
