Today, Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Georgia on a two-day state visit. This is of particular importance as the first visit of the Head of State to this friendly country.
On the visit of the Honorable President, the National Flags of Turkmenistan and Georgia were hosted at the Shota Rustaveli International Airport in Tbilisi, and an Honor Guard was formed. Here, officials of the friendly country and members of the Turkmen delegation welcomed the Head of State.
An official welcoming ceremony for the distinguished Turkmen guest was held on the square at the Orbeliani Palace of the President of Georgia.
A one-on-one meeting was held between Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a state visit to Tbilisi for the first time, and President of Georgia Mikhail Kavelashvili.
