Representatives of Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan are participating in the 22nd International CDIO 2026 Conference held at the University of Liverpool in Liverpool, United Kingdom, from June 22 to 25, 2026.
The Turkmen delegation includes Yslam Orazov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Cyberphysical Systems, and Ahal Akgayev, Director of the “Oguz Han” Scientific and Technological Center.
The main theme of the conference is “Enhancing Student Professional Development: Innovation in Assessment and Feedback”, focusing on modern assessment methods, effective feedback systems, and the development of students’ professional competencies.
The CDIO 2026 International Conference brought together 157 representatives from 71 universities across 27 countries. The conference served as an important platform for exchanging best practices in engineering education, discussing innovative teaching methods, and strengthening international academic cooperation.
During the conference, representatives of Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan presented the university’s scientific activities, research in cyber-physical systems, and modern technologies.
In March 2023, Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan became the first higher education institution among Central Asian countries to become a full member of CDIO.
