Applications for a prestigious international competition to showcase professional excellence among foreign Russian language teachers have opened in the capital of Turkmenistan. The initiative is being organized by the Russian House in Ashgabat, the A.S. Pushkin Institute, and the Russkiy Mir Foundation, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was reported by the Russian Information Center.
The project aims to introduce advanced teaching methods, expert exchange, and comprehensive support for the professional growth of specialists.
Those wishing to try their hand at the program must register and submit their application information through the “Education in Russian” platform by mid-September. The online qualifying round, scheduled for September and October, will require teachers to complete methodological assignments and create a creative video presentation.
The final competition will take place in the second half of November at the Pushkin Institute’s Moscow site. The organizing committee will cover all travel, accommodation, meals, and visa expenses for the finalists. The main prize for the winners will be the right to present their work at the 7th Kostomarov Forum, while the runners-up will receive special diplomas and commemorative prizes.
