The 67th International Mathematical Olympiad, IMO-2026, was held in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, from July 10 to 21, 2026. 685 talented students from 119 countries, including 6 from our country, participated in the international competition.
According to the results of the International Mathematical Olympiad, Agaperman Berdimyradov, a 12th grader from secondary school No. 40 in Yoloten district of Mary region, won silver, Begench Akmyradov, a 12th grader from specialized secondary school No. 49 in Ashgabat city, specializing in mathematics and English language, Maliksha Meylismuravod, a 12th grader from specialized secondary school No. 86 in Ashgabat city, specializing in English language, chemistry and biology, and Hemra Gurbanov, a 10th grader from the same school, won bronze medals.
