The next meeting of the country’s highest representative body, the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, will be held on September 23 of this year at the “Maslahat Köşgi” Palace in Ashgabat. National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the corresponding resolution.
The upcoming forum aims to ensure broad public participation in addressing key issues of state and public life. The meeting also aims to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society.
According to the approved resolution, regional Halk Maslahaty councils of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat must submit lists of nominated candidates to the Halk Maslahaty Office by September 1. The supreme body will include representatives from all velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.
The procedure for nominating public representatives is clearly regulated by a separate resolution of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty. All preparatory organizational activities will be carried out in strict accordance with the established schedule.
