A two-day training seminar for football commissioners for the 2026 Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) tournament was held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The main goal of the event, which brought together experts from all member associations of the regional football organization, was to improve the level of match organization in Central Asia and train highly qualified football commissioners. Azat Annaorazov, a representative of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, represented Turkmenistan at this international conference. Kemal Tokabayev, the official football commissioner of FIFA and AFC, along with international experts from CAFA, led the football commissioner-training program. The training program included theoretical knowledge and practical exercises, allowing participants to gain international experience and important practical skills for organizing matches at a high level. The Central Asian Football Association attaches great importance to the continuous development of the knowledge and professional skills of football specialists in the region. Practical measures taken in this direction create broad opportunities to ensure that matches and competitions held in the region fully comply with the high international standards of FIFA and the AFC.
