The President of Turkmenistan has permitted government officials, with the exception of those in charge of agriculture and regional governors, to take vacations starting August 1.
As is their annual practice, government members will spend their vacations in the Avaza National Tourist Zone and Turkmenistan’s sanatoriums.
The head of state also noted that Avaza is scheduled to host a Summit of Heads of State and other international events in the second half of the year. He also emphasized the need for proper preparation for the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Turkmenistan holds the rotating chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States this year. In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to ensure a high-level organization of the next meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.
