President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed the law on the ratification of the memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Nations regarding the United Nations Regional Center for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.
The document provides for the establishment of a United Nations Regional Center in Kazakhstan, which will be responsible for promoting and coordinating the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan.
